The 23rd ICTer conference, hosted at UCSC this year, presented a distinctive ambiance with the inclusion of six esteemed international keynote speakers and the participation of our former UCSC Director. The UCSC board of directors recognized the significance of involving the Alumni Association to provide valuable insights and guidance to the audience, highlighting the successful trajectories of past UCSC graduates in both research and industry.
During the event, we actively engaged with numerous undergraduate attendees, offering them invaluable career advice and witnessing their enthusiasm to explore their potential. The overwhelming response from participants, demonstrated by a significant number of member registrations on both event days, surpassed our expectations and underscores the growing enthusiasm and support within the UCSC alumni community.
